The Implementation of PACS (Picture Archiving And Communication System) in Radiology Department of Margono Soekarjo Hospital

Background: This study aims to determine the evaluation and influencing factors in implementation of Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) at Radiology Department Margono Soekarjo Hospital, PurwokertoMethods: The type research is qualitative with a purposive sampling approach which produces descriptive data form pictures written or spoken words from informants observed behavior. Data obtained by researchers means observation, in-depth interviews, documentation. analyzed using interactive model, for further drawn conclusions.Results: results showed that PACS implemented radiology department Purwokerto consisted several components, namely Image Acquisition / Modality, Core Application, Viewing Reading Station. Modality. Factors influence Purwokerto, were manpower resources, Stability power supply Local Area Network, but there was no SOP could be used as operational guidelines users inpatient department, polyclinics, emergency departments.Conclusions: Suggestions accessing can done not only it accessed personal computer laptop.
